It is a double function bulb (2 contacts at the bottom for 25w\/25w or similar) and round flange (see last pictures). This bulb fits directly into your headlight and plugs into your harness. It is brighter, lasts longer, uses less watts (but is 10x brighter per watt), and will not burn your wires if kept on too long. It does not get nearly as hot as a conventional bulb. It is a polarity sensitive bulb and will not work with a positive ground system. It is a DC only bulb. It will short on an AC line.
